Beta status, honestly: Today you can buy the add-on, add your domain, see the exact DNS records and verify that you own it. Sending and receiving on customer domains is rolling out now, and the Custom domain screen in Settings shows the status of each domain.
How it works

The add-on attaches to a paid plan. Free accounts upgrade first. - Buy the add-on.

We show the DNS records to add at your registrar or DNS host. - Verify.
Press Verify and we check your DNS. The status shows right in Settings.
