Is MAD Mail really free?
Yes. The Free plan gives you one you@madmonkey.media mailbox with 1 GB of storage, one alias and 100 sends a day, with no card required. Paid plans add storage, aliases, AI Cleanup and team features.
What will my email address be?
Every account gets an address at @madmonkey.media, for example you@madmonkey.media. You read mail in the app at inbox.madmonkey.media and sign in through MAD Login at accounts.madmonkey.media. inbox.madmonkey.media is the app, not your address.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, with the Custom Domain add-on on Starter, Growth or Pro for $8/mo or $75/yr. You keep you@madmonkey.media and add you@yourdomain. Settings shows the DNS records to add and verifies that you own the domain. Mail on customer domains is in beta and rolling out now; your Settings screen shows the live status of your domain.
Is MAD Mail in beta?
Yes. MAD Mail is in beta. The core inbox, sign-up and paid plans work today, and we are still adding features and polishing. Custom-domain mail is the newest part and is rolling out.
Do you scan my email for ads?
No. MAD Mail does not show ads and does not run your mail through Google or an ad network. The on-device AI features are designed to run in your browser so the message body stays on your device.
What is the Imbox, Reading Room and Receipts?
It is a three-part inbox inspired by Hey. Messages from real people land in the Imbox, newsletters wait in the Reading Room, and order confirmations and receipts are filed under Receipts, so important mail is not buried.
What is Mailroom?
Mailroom is a single view across the email accounts you connect. Every message carries a colored tag that shows which account it came from, and you can filter by account.
How do I upgrade?
Create a free mailbox, sign in, then choose a plan on the Pricing page. Checkout is handled by Stripe through MAD Pay, and your account is upgraded as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. Every paid plan has an annual price that works out to about two months free: Starter $30/yr, Growth $70/yr, Pro $150 per user per year. The Custom Domain add-on is $75/yr.
How do I cancel?
You can manage or cancel your plan from MAD Mail Settings. If you cancel a paid plan, your account returns to the Free plan.
Can I take my mail with me?
Yes. Your mailbox is a standard IMAP mailbox, so you can export your mail at any time with any IMAP email client.
Does MAD Mail work on my phone?
Yes. inbox.madmonkey.media works in any modern mobile browser and can be installed to your home screen as an app.
Do you offer business and enterprise plans?
Growth covers small teams with 5 mailboxes, and Pro adds unlimited mailboxes, shared inboxes, an audit log and SLA support. For larger rollouts, multiple domains or white-label needs, contact us for Enterprise terms.
Can I resell MAD Mail or earn referral commission?
Yes. MAD Mail is part of the MAD Monkey Media partner program, which has Referral, Reseller and White-Label tracks. See the Partners page to apply.
